Certanly, you achieved that. You created something really original from a scene where thousands drive by every day.
The composition is great, and I love the contrast between the red sign and the pure white of the snow while symbolism combines those two.
I also really like that you see a part of the road, this adds something interesting to the photo while not being distractive.
It also repeats the symbolism and explains the red being a warning color.
It would be an instant favourite, except the two other signs disturb my view while not adding anything to the photo. Especially the red of the rightmost sign attracts the eye, thus disturbing view. This might have been avoided by choosing a slightly different angle.
Other than that, great photo. One might find it a bit overexposed, but I like the white trees feathering into the white sky here.
I believe the color contrast of the sign and the snowy white background is very good, very eye catching. It made me want to look at all parts of the photo, just made my eyes wander. The colors are there, very pretty. I love where you took this photo, wherever it was.
The originality is there. It's not the first photo of a sign, but you made it your own and that's really all that counts. People can do whatever they want, but nobody can capture exactly what you have here. And for that, I am proud to just be able to see this piece.
Your technique is grand. I don't know how people do it, but you sure did it. You got the right lighting, angle. You captured it perfectly. Not too blurry, not too sharp. You hit it right on the money.
The impact was just awesome. The red sign against the snow just made it look beautiful. Beauty has an impact on a lot of people, especially me. This photo can take some people back, those people who appreciate the finer and more subtle things.
I know it is quite short, but I do believe if it's short and sweet you don't have to write a whole book on one photo, just have to capture the meaning. All around, amazing work. And I hope to see plenty more to come.
